Hydra Jacks

RotoMetrics Hydra Jack System is our most popular and convenient Hydraulic Pressure Gauging System. Hydra Jacks allow press operators to easily monitor die cutting force, and as a result, decrease downtime and increase the operating life of the die.

Features:

• Unique design allows jack screws to slide out of the bridge instead of unscrewing—a RotoMetrics FIRST
• Screws are held in position by a cam or clip lock; once the locks are engaged, pressure can be adjusted and monitored
• Detects force directly from the load applied to the die
• Easy-to-read gauges, calibrated in pounds of force to certified national standards

Advantages:

• Load cells and gauges are part of the screws, eliminating the need for wiring or mechanical connections
• Indicates immediately any increase in pressure resulting from heat build up on either side; not available on units that equalize pressure
• Helps protect tooling from the stresses of excess pressure
• Requires only a simple retrofit of an existing bridge in most cases
• On-file die pressure testing records, with dies ordered from RotoMetrics
